GNSS M10-L4-3100 - spread your wings

The M10-L4-3100 GNSS receiver is based on AP_Periph software from ArduPilot, It is a GNSS receiver with a built-in compass and barometer. It has CAN/DroneCAN and UART/MSP interfaces. Powered by u-blox, the MAX-M10S uses a multi-constellation GNSS signal. The MAX-M10S is a GNSS receiver that receives signals and tracks multiple GNSS constellations in parallel. Thanks to its wideband architecture, all four major GNSS constellations (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and BeiDou) can be received simultaneously. The M10-L4-3100 receiver integrates an industrial-grade PNI RM3100 compass with high resolution, low power consumption, no hysteresis, large dynamic range and high sampling rate.

TIPS AND NOTES


On the M10-F4-3100, the three magnetic coils have little solder paste to avoid excessive "tilting", which causes inaccuracies in the compass reading. Any hard knocks will definitely split them, especially the "high coil" of Sen-Z-F. Please use this precision module with care.

The default configuration for the MAX-M10S with ubloxFW5.1 is set to receive simultaneous signals from GPS, Galileo and BeiDou B1I with QZSS and SBAS activated. GLONASS is deactivated by default.

Beidou B1I (1561.098 MHz) and GLONASS cannot be activated at the same time. Beidou B1C (1575.42 MHz) and GLONASS can be activated at the same time. Flight controller software (INAV, Betaflight, ArduPilot) do not support Beidou B1C.

With GPS, Galileo and BeoDou B1I activated with QZSS and SBAS activated, the MAX-M10S is capable of tracking more than 30 satellites with HDOPs up to 0.55.
